About El Pueblito Place
Our menu is a mouth-watering compendium of some of the best recipes from our countries—Guatemala and Mexico. Our cuisine is one of the richest in the Americas. Our diverse culinary output is the result of more than 500 years of mixing four main cultural and historical ingredients to create a concise and delightfully appetizing cuisine.
The first component of this formula is the contribution of the Mayas and Aztecs, who taught us how to make tempting recipes with seeds and other natural plants. Second, is the input of the Spaniards, who after Columbus’ arrival in 1493 brought us all the richness and flavor of the Spanish art of cooking.
And finally the ingredients that Africans who settled in the coastal regions of Guatemala contributed has perfected the art of making savory, deliciously tasting fritters and other specialties.
Our personal contribution is blending these diverse ingredients into one tasteful presentation. Thus, it is with great pleasure that we offer you one of the best culinary endeavors you will ever experience.
Sit back, enjoy, and BUEN PROVECHO!! |
